2021 Ford EcoSport’s 2.0 Ti-VCT Engine Delivers Performance in BC

For drivers in BC looking to find an SUV with an engine that can go from city driving to tough off-roading in a flash, the 2021 Ford EcoSport’s 2.0 TiVCT is it. This powerplant boasts Gas Direct Injection (GDI) and many other features designed to improve its efficiency and performance.

Using GDI, fuel is injected directly into the engine’s combustion chamber, which increases power output while reducing exhaust emissions. This process complements the Auto Start-Stop feature – it shuts off the motor when the SUV is halted to further save on gas.

The 2.0L Ti-VCT also comes with an Intelligent 4WD system that helps improve handling and traction on many different types of surfaces. It can detect adverse conditions as you drive around BC and responds automatically to them by adjusting the torque delivered to each wheel.
