2021 Ford Escape Hybrid Makes Smart Use of Electricity in BC

When driving your hybrid vehicle around BC, the 2021 Ford Escape plug-in edition lets you make smart use of its charge; choose from one of four modes perfectly tailored to different conditions. In the Auto EV setting, this SUV can decide on its own if it should be in electric or gasoline operation, but if you prefer just the battery alone, then select EV Now.

And for trips that require electrical power towards the end, put the Escape into the EV Later setting. This causes the gasoline engine to run first, and the battery will kick in afterwards – ideal for heading off the highway into city driving.
