2021 Ford Expedition Helps Prevent Accidents in BC

Even the best drivers in BC might experience a mishap, which is why the 2021 Ford Expedition has Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) included as standard. Using advanced front-mounted cameras, this SUV constantly scans the road ahead to ensure safer travels.

If the cameras anticipate a potential collision, a warning will be displayed in the message centre and an alarm will sound. If you don’t take sufficient action immediately, then AEB will charge the brakes to prepare for input and increase their sensitivity for when you do stop.

And if (for whatever reason) there is no operator response within an allotted time, the system can automatically bring the SUV to a halt by applying the ABS function itself. This can greatly reduce the chance of a sudden collision – with electronic brake-force distribution and four-wheel discs working in tandem to minimize damage.
