2021 Ford F-150 XLT Brings FX4 Off-Road Package to Penticton

With the release of the 2021 F-150 XLT – available at Skaha Ford in BC – the Blue Oval has fused its best-selling truck with all-terrain performance to deliver even more commercial proficiency. With the inclusion of the available FX4 Off-Road Package, the F-150 enables fleets to embrace rugged landscapes and treacherous conditions.

The FX4 Off-Road Package enhances the 2021 F-150’s 4×4 capabilities with an electronic-locking rear axle. This system allows both wheels to turn at the same speed, resulting in extra traction and friction to prevent the truck from getting stuck. Hill Descent Control is also included, which continually adjusts braking pressure to control slippage and maintain a constant preset speed while going down a steep grade. Rock Crawl provides extra stability, as well, when traversing over rugged terrain.

Featuring specially-tuned front shocks, the F-150’s FX4 Off-Road Package ensures a comfortable in-cabin experience when driving over bumpy territory. Front differential, transfer case and fuel tank skid plates are also designed to protect the truck’s undercarriage from off-road damage, while stylish FX4 Off-Road box decals differentiate the F-150 from the competition.
