2021 Ford F-250 Delivers Traction to Peachland Fleets

May 25,2022

Commercial drivers confront various conditions and weather, including treacherous snow and ice, rain, rocks, mud, sand and other surfaces. Nevertheless, tackling these situations – and often without notice – is a severe safety concern. With the debut of the 2021 F-250 and standard AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control (RSC), the Blue Oval delivers surefooted performance to BC fleets. Available now at Skaha Ford, the F-250's AdvanceTrac with RSC enhances performance by increasing friction on changing road surfaces, resulting in greater resistance to slippage and out-of-control steering. The system employs tiny gyroscopic sensors that capture hundreds of readings per second of the Super Duty's roll rate and motion. AdvanceTrac with RSC slows the engine when wheel slippage is identified to keep all four wheels securely grounded. The 2021 F-250 also provides exceptional traction with an available 4x4 system engineered for extremes. For example, the 4WD transfer case includes an electromagnetic clutch that provides smooth and immediate responses when extra traction is required. Additionally, the driveshafts and U-joints are designed to handle the F-250's mighty torque output.
