2021 Ford Super Duty F-250 XLT Keeps Trailers Steady in BC

Wobbly caravans are less of a worry as you tow them across BC in the 2021 Ford Super Duty F-250 XLT with AdvanceTrac and Roll Stability Control (RSC) included as standard. This system uses gyroscopic sensors to assess a trailer’s positioning 150 times per second.

If those sensors detect wobbling, your truck will reduce engine power and selectively apply wheel braking to stabilize itself. And, to prevent sliding, yaw control dampens fishtailing by exerting stopping pressure on the rear tires.

RSC works by monitoring the body angle of the F-250. If it senses conditions that could cause a rollover, like sudden accident avoidance manoeuvres or a curve taken too quickly, it’ll apply the brakes to one or more of the wheels individually and flash a warning light on the dash to alert you – safeguarding every haul in BC.
