2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Arrives in Penticton

If you are in the market for a fully-electric light-duty pickup, then you need to take a peek at the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. Available in two body styles (SuperCab and Crew Cab) with a 5-and-a-half-foot bed, you can reserve one of these innovative trucks today!

Gasoline is out! Instead, this model is powered by two electric motors. Mated with AWD and an independent rear suspension, it offers smooth handling and a comfortable ride experience. The standard unit produces a staggering 775 lb-ft of torque, which is more than any other F-150 in history. To put things into perspective, the F-150 Raptor with its turbocharged V6 hybrid setup delivers 430 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque.

With a driving range of 370 km (230 miles) on a single charge, you don’t have to worry about making it your destination. If you need a bit more distance, you can opt for the extended-range battery. This allows you to travel for up to 480 km (300 miles). Plus, it boosts the output to 563 hp. Finally, track tests have shown that it can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds.
