Ford has announced that its latest 2022 Mustang Mach-E will have some new features, including an Active Park Assist feature. The feature uses sensors to detect the front end of another vehicle and automatically steer into a parking spot. The active park assist system sensors scan for obstacles in front of your vehicle and behind it. It then uses computer vision algorithms to detect an open spot and steer itself into it, using small steering inputs from you to guide it. For example, suppose there is a vehicle at the back. When you are parkig, the system will warn you when you get closer to the vehicle while parking. The entire process takes maximum five seconds. It also works on parallel parking, as well as perpendicular parking, which is useful when you are trying to squeeze into a tight space. The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E can also detect pedestrians and other vehicles within its path and stop before hitting them. This is made possible by its smart system, which uses cameras on the front windshield to detect obstacles while driving. The system can also park on its own or let you take control of the vehicle at any time during parking maneuvers.
