2022 RAM 1500 – Split Tailgate Bed Access in Penticton

It has been announced that the 2022 RAM 1500 will have an innovative split tailgate bed access feature. The new design makes it easier to load items onto the truck’s bed without lifting anything over the tailgate or needing to move them around once they are there.
The split tailgate is built with a hinge in the middle, which allows it to be opened like a regular tailgate or pushed down and slid open like a barn door. The 2022 RAM 1500 will also come with a button on each side of the truck that allows users to open just one half of the gate at a time, making it easier for more oversized items like furniture or appliances to be loaded and unloaded from the back of your truck without having to worry about taking up valuable space inside.
This new feature is designed to make it easier to load and unload cargo from the back of a pickup truck without climbing into or out of it. The split tailgate bed access feature also allows the driver to open one half of the tailgate while leaving the other half closed, making it easier for an adult to reach into the truck’s bed without having to climb over any cargo they are carrying.
