The biggest change to SYNC 4 is the addition of a capacitive touchscreen. It is not just larger than its predecessor – measuring eight inches diagonally – but it also has improved response times and a more intuitive menu structure. The graphics are sharper and easier to read as well.
You can still swipe up or down to scroll through items on the screen, but there is also a sleek, ergonomic rotary controller on the left side of the display that you can use for basic navigation functions like selecting radio stations or adjusting volume levels without needing to take your eyes off the road.
