FordPass can Locate Your Electrified Vehicle in Newfoundland

Since rolling out the all-electric Ford to the market, Ford has offered its customers some tools and services to help them manage their electric vehicle in Newfoundland. Ford’s new technology makes it possible to find your vehicle anywhere.
The technology works by using the GPS in your phone to determine your location. When you go to the vehicle landing page, the app will use this information to determine your vehicle’s location. After you log in with your FordPass account, you can enter an address where your vehicle was last seen or use the map view to search for nearby parking lots and garages in case it has not moved since last being seen by the app. A pin will appear on the map showing where our system last detected your vehicle; follow along with the directions on the screen until you arrive at that location.
The feature is only available when you are a Ford Pass member and have enabled the location services on your phone. With this feature, you can find your vehicle in Newfoundland in case of emergency by using your mobile phone and FordPass App. You can track your vehicle from anywhere. This can be especially helpful if you cannot find your vehicle in a crowded parking lot or if you are worried about someone tampering with it while you are away.
