The 2021 Ford F-450 Ensures Bad-Weather Visibility in Peachland

This advanced feature is part of the 2021 F-450’s Ford Co-Pilot 360 technologies and comes standard on King Ranch, Platinum and Limited trims or optional on the Lariat. The system works by detecting moisture on the windshield and activating the wipers automatically to ensure driver visibility.

To activate the system, the driver must raise the right-hand control stalk into the first upward position and choose the desired sensitivity – the higher the sensitivity, the faster the wipers will clean the windshield and vice versa. 

Once the system is in the on position, the driver does not need to activate, deactivate or adjust the wiper speed under usual driving conditions. The rain-sensing windshield wipers handle that automatically. The only time the system needs to be turned off is when taking the truck through an automatic car wash.
