The 2021 Ford Ranger XL Delivers Turbocharged Performance to BC

If you’re looking to add a commercial truck to your fleet, the 2021 Ford Ranger XL is a tough, but fuel-sipping option for towing tools and materials around BC.

The 2021 Ranger comes equipped with a 270-hp turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder that makes 310 lb.-ft. of torque. It connects to a 10-speed automatic transmission with enhanced gear progressions for the smoothest shifts throughout the gearbox. 

The engine also features Ford’s Auto Start-Stop Technology, which helps the 2021 Ranger XL achieve 11.8 L/100km in the city and 9.8 L/100km on the highway. Better yet, this fuel-efficient performance doesn’t come at the cost of towing ability. When properly equipped, the 2021 Ranger can pull an estimated 3,402 kg with rear- or four-wheel drive while carrying a maximum payload capacity of 748kg. That’s plenty of grunt for a midsize truck!
