The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Delivers All-Electric Driving Range to BC Fleets

May 25,2022

Your workday is full of demands and worrying about your truck's gas tank shouldn't be one of them. With the launch of the 2022 F-150 Lightning, Ford is connecting BC commercial fleet operators with 100% electric range, so you can spend more time at the job site – and not on the sidelines. Hitting the market next spring, all 2022 F-150 Lightning models will be offered with the option of two lithium-ion liquid-cooled battery packs. The standard-range battery will deliver an anticipated 370-km driving range on a full charge or there's an extended-range version that can travel 483 km if you regularly do longer hauls.  According to Driving, battery restoration will be managed by a DC fast-charger that will have you up and running in 44 minutes with the standard-range battery or 41 minutes with the extended-range option. After a long day on the road, the 2022 F-150 Lightning can also recharge overnight while you relax using an at-home Level 2 charger. Keep up with the demands of your day without worrying about how you'll power up your truck.
