Your workday is full of demands and worrying about your truck’s gas tank shouldn’t be one of them. With the launch of the 2022 F-150 Lightning, Ford is connecting BC commercial fleet operators with 100% electric range, so you can spend more time at the job site – and not on the sidelines.
Hitting the market next spring, all 2022 F-150 Lightning models will be offered with the option of two lithium-ion liquid-cooled battery packs. The standard-range battery will deliver an anticipated 370-km driving range on a full charge or there’s an extended-range version that can travel 483 km if you regularly do longer hauls.
According to Driving, battery restoration will be managed by a DC fast-charger that will have you up and running in 44 minutes with the standard-range battery or 41 minutes with the extended-range option. After a long day on the road, the 2022 F-150 Lightning can also recharge overnight while you relax using an at-home Level 2 charger.
Keep up with the demands of your day without worrying about how you’ll power up your truck. To learn more about the 2022 F-150 Lightning, contact our team at Skaha Ford in Penticton, BC for a full spec review.
