The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Delivers Flexible Power to BC Fleets

May 25,2022

Whether breaking ground at the job site or charging devices at the campsite, the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning’s Pro Power Onboard system delivers versatile power to BC fleets.

With this system, you can take advantage of built-in electrical outlets to directly power a variety of tools, electronics and appliances while away from your shop or home. All 2022 F-150 Lightning models come standard with 2.4 kilowatts of power through four outlets, including two in the cabin and two in the bed. However, upgrading to the Lariat and Platinum trims provides 9.6 kilowatts of power with up to 2.4 kilowatts available through the front truck and up to 7.2 kilowatts through outlets in the cab and bed. According to Ford, that’s enough power to rip through 48.3 km (30 miles) of half-inch plywood.

To ensure that you always maintain sufficient battery life, the Lightning also provides the ability to set usage limits, so your crew has enough range to make it back to the garage.

The new 2022 F-150 Lightning will prove invaluable to BC fleets seeking flexible power options. To learn more about this pick-up – including additional specs and availability – contact us at Skaha Ford.
