The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is a vehicle that is equally capable on the road and off. The truck has been designed for versatility and robustness and comes in four different trim levels. While the fundamentals of all the Ford F-150 Lightning trim levels are the same, they do, however, differ in their range as well as some features.
The basic model is called 2022 F-150 Lightning Pro. The truck has a standard battery of 98kWh and is also available in an extended battery range of 131kWh. The standard battery gives a range of 230 miles while the extended version offers 330 miles. The next trim level in the series is the 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT. The XLT has a larger battery pack than the pro and also comes with signature head front lighting and cloth seating, both of which are absent from the pro. Instead, the pro comes with vinyl seats.
The next trim level in the series is the 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT Lariat. This trim level has, in addition to all the features of the XLT, heated and ventilated leather seating, powered tailgate, and twin panel moonroof.
The highest trim level is the Platinum which has all the features of the Lariat and in addition to that, also has chrome grille, 22-inch aluminum wheels, B&O Sound System, Nirvana leather seats (heated and ventilated), and front seats with Active Motion.
All Ford F-150 Lightning models have a mega power frunk, dual electric motors, Ford Co-Pilot 2.0, and a towing capacity of 5,000lbs with standard battery pack and 7,000lbs with extended battery pack.
