With the 3rd annual Track Day Event coming up this summer, newcomers may need to start prepping early. If you plan on attending for the first time, then this list of items to bring will come in handy.
Safety is always a top priority. That’s why you need to bring along plenty of protective gear such as a helmet, work gloves, close-toes shoes, a long-sleeved shirt, and sunglasses.
You may also want to consider investing in track tires. They will perform better on the day of the event than your usual summer or all-season set.
To ensure that your car is tweaked to perfection up to the very last minute, you should bring along a socket set. This will come in handy if you need to change out the brake pads. A torque wrench is another tool you should bring to check the lugs/buts before you hit the pavement. Other items include the following:
Duct Tape
Tire Pressure Gauge
Cleaners
Cordless Impact Wrench
Extra Brake Pads
Oil
Fluids
Jack/Stand
Tool Bag/Box
All of these things can be found at most stores with an automotive department. Contact the team at Skaha Ford to learn more about the upcoming Track Day Event!
