Cabin Air Filter Replacements in BC

Sneezing, runny noses, itchy eyes – springtime in BC can be irritating. With so much pollen circulating in the air and allergens out in full force, it’s imperative to have your cabin air filter inspected and replaced by our service experts at Skaha Ford.

Over time, this part can become clogged, rendering itself ineffective at keeping dust, pollen, smoke and other pollutants from entering the HVAC system. Not only does this make for an unpleasant vehicle interior with bad smells or a noisy fan, but it can also interfere with the airflow of the ventilation system – or lack thereof. Knowing that we are headed into prime air conditioning season, you’ll want to replace your cabin air filter in the spring so you don’t have weak HVAC performance.

As a general rule of thumb, it is recommended to swap out an old cabin air filter every 20,000 – 25,000 km. However, your Owner’s Guide will list the required interval for your specific Ford model and year.
